Miscarriage:Loss of a non viable life. Some gentle words.

Once fertilised, the embryo will start to develop at an exponential rate that no wonder any chromosomal abnormalities would be exaggerated and manifested at an early stage. These defects were often already formed since the formation of eggs when the mother was in the fetal stage and the formation of sperm during spermatogenesis stage in the father. Environmental factors do play some parts too but with responsible lifestyles, these usually contributes to a smaller extent. So many stages can go wrong and it really takes a lot of chances to have all these stages just right to form a viable life, nurtured and grown in the relatively safe environment in the womb and later in the protective world outside the womb. Little wonder once life is born, one may say a miracle has happened.
Miscarriages do happen very commonly, as a natural process of nature's selection of the survival of the fittest. Human tendency often makes one value the lost while taking for granted what is gained. Afterall, love is not just for the lost but also for what is remained. Love one another, Jesus has said. It is the crucial time when bleeding hearts needed healing, mourning souls needed consoling and innocent tears needed wiping with abundance of love, not questions of whys, whats and what if's. Mourn yes but let's not forget all things happen for reasons which may or may not be known to us. For you never know, just around the corner after this milestone of your journey, another new chapter would begin.
Perharps, another formation of life which would be much more valued and cherished.
Take hearts and pray for an unevetful recovery from this heart breaking event and moving onwards with more humility. Humility that our own weak human will is so weak as to change anything remotely significant but God's will.
