Autumn in Far Rye, 多事之秋!

Emma and Helena have gone through quite a steep learning curves individually to adapt to their all new environments. Emma has been to her nursery and has picked up various infection. among them is her third episode of ear infection which we worried that she may need to see a ENT specialist to have a good look inside her ears. On her last ear infection, we noticed that she lost her appetite and noticed that her right ear started to have discharge. We feel that perhaprs she will need a grommit insertion to prevent further attack and hearing. Helena has been to her new school and her parents have to get used to the new set of school rules.
All in all, we are coping just barely well with the school and nursery runs plus the sleepless nights of coughing, crying, vomiting, diarrhoea, etcetc. With the threat of resurgence of swine flu and common flu epidemics, we can only pray that we will get through this winter relatively safely and well.
