My wife always says that she has three babaies in the house, all of them need attended to. I guess she is right as her cooking is always better than mine. It is convenient and better idea toadmit your own inadequacy in cooking so that the more capable one can then do the cooking!!Emma has grown well. She is at the stage of exploring everything, with no concept in any of the social restriction or so called propriety. Whatever she feels is in direct response to anything that she experiences. hence she will scream when she is not happy and smile or laugh she is happy. She will certainly closes her mouth when she does not feel like to eat or drink.
She does not know what mess means. Hence we normally bring at least one extra set of clothing with us to prepare for her change after 'eating'. The eating usualy means feeding food to her mouth, hands, chest, ears and sometimes hair. She would then protest when we change her clothes as if we are interrupting her most important thing i.e. exploring more things and tasting more forbidden objects.
Aren't we all like babies at times even at our age?? Engrossing ourselves in our little world, obvilious of the outside world or different perspective of what we are doing? Engrossing ourselves in doing something seemingly so important that we cannot be interupted? And if interupted, we would get upset, sad or angry as nobody can understand the sense of loss that we feel?
Raising children on your own, not only enrich your life as parents but also raising yourselves as an adult. It certainly helps me to understand so many aspect of God's live and grace to use all. He loves us so much that he let use espress our free will. Nudge us to the right direction but never interfere. Ne there for us when we get hurt or happy, always. He would die and have died for us so that we can be brought to heaven just the way we are with His son in us, Jesus....... Amen.
