A very British holiday in Devon.

We are very grateful that we have the opportunities to visit one of the best kept secrects of seaside holiday destination in UK. Seaside holiday in UK is always frowned upon as untrendy and full of Butlins equivalent holiday goers who cannot afford going abroad. Not so for Devon. The treandy shops, upcoming cafes, pretty boutiques, clean seasides and lots of activities for people of all ages have provided a safe haven for holiday goers to this part of the world. The Birtish weather is typically sprinkled with rainy windy spells thanks to its adjacent geographical location to Atlantic sea and the meeting point between the cold North wind and the warm current from the south. Hence the temperature can range from 16 C to 24 C with or withour rain depending on where you are in Devon. Despite the unpredictability of the weather, we had a great week! We have the Tsoi's who came with us sharing the little cottage that we found on the 'web', and we had a great time. The seafood was exquisite. The lobster, sea crabs, mussels, oyster, king prawns, scampi, etcetc. 90% of the Devon lobsters were shipped to Japan showing that the lobster are not just popular for the local British tastebuds.

The kids were having so much fun in exploring and playing at the beach, marina's and the villages that we visited.

Jasmine and I never felt so relaxed and felt that maybe this would be our next seaside holiday destination again......
