The right to die or to live? Euthanasia vs abortion

To live, to experience one's life, however short or long it is, is the most valuble gift given. Leaving aside the questions of where life comes from but just looking at the life itself, if this is not by choice to have a life, should it be a choice to end it?

In a Christian world, ending one's life delibrately is an unforgivable sin as this would be perceived as means of rebellion against God's plan, against God. This belief also applies even to those with unbearable experiences including untreatble cancer, rape victims, depression or any other possible reasons that can cause one to fall to such a hopeless desperation that the only way out of the misery is to end one's life. Sometimes, in those horrible situations life is the only one thing that they have and yet they have decided to give it all up.

All that pain, anger, sadness, hopelessness, guilt and desperation.......

With all that, is it then justifiable to allow one to end the life? Is it then OK to kill a life in the womb and when you are 'terminally ill'? Ironically, those terminally ill people are going to die very soon anyway. Is it then OK to speed up the dying process?

Do they actually have this kind of choice, if at all?

I somehow got the feeling that God has given us so much freedom to make choices, so much so that he even let us to have this kind of freedom to have or to end lives. He, has given Adam and Eve the freedom to make the choice to eat or not to eat the fruit of tree of wisdom. They have made the worst choice in the history of the entire human race, God's chosen race.

This choice of euthanasia and abortion, to me, is not very much different from killing. Indeed, effectively it is an active act of ending 'a life'. In this society, it is illegal to kill a 'normal' life outside the mother's womb but it is getting sociably 'acceptable' to kill an 'abnormal' or 'ill' life or even 'unwanted' life inside the womb.

Is this what we call JUSTICE, EQUALITY and AUTONOMY?
These three ethical issues are created by human race, presuming that we, human being, is the centre of all things. Lawful, Godless, faithless, hopeless and without love and forgiveness.

This is the ultimate sadness that pervail in this falling world. Since Adam and Eve, we have been a fallen race and we are still continuously falling, knowingly and unknowingly. We have traded what we have the most precious things in our life: Hope, Faith and Love for the so-called Justice, Equality and Autonomy.

The right to die or to live, NO, we don't have, we never have that. Even Jesus Christ didn't have the right to die or to live, he was killed by us, the sinners! God possesses the right for you to die or to live! It is in God's will that we are in this world. The choice to die or to live, YES, you do have, you always have that. You just have to make the choice!

How to make the right choice to please God, you have already known. I pray with all my soul and my heart for those who suffer so much to be strong to live their lives to see hope and to love again that life is not just about themselves but God. To have a life to witness God's glory even in this fallen world is always a priviledge! Open your eyes and see, it is true.
