Birmingham

After years of industrilisation, Birmingham has now emerged from the old shanty run down city to a modern metro city. The recent construction of the modern shopping centre, Bull Ring with the famous 'Silver slug' has brushed up the city image. There is also our all time favorite : Yo! Shushi bar where the shushi dishes were delivered via the conveyer belt in front of the customers and the local Chinese Quarter with all the Chinese food your nostalgic taste buds can find. Having said all that, the traffic around Birmingham city is notoriously bad. I think this is quite commpn place for all major cities. The traffic was outgrown the capacity of the road initially designed. These pictures were taken on a cold afternoon with our compact digital camera. The building always gives me an eerie omnious feeling.
