These principles have set a standard for the medical profession to adhere to when facing some management issues involving medical services and staffing administration. For what was once the ideal management benchmarks of management qualities have now become the compulsory requirements of quality assurance. This may give confidence to the clients, i.e patients but also to the team workers.
Hmm...... selflessness, being a doctor nowadays have to give up your self for it. Talking about commitments and sacrifice!!
Being a doctor now is armed with the ethics of duty by the General Medical Council's Good Medical Practice Guidelines, the Mental Capacity Act 2005 code of conduct, the Nolan's Principles, the Beuchamp and Childress four principles of ethics as well as the agenda of appraisal and revalidation!!
No wonder I feel tired all the time verging on chronic fatigue syndrome.
