Thankfully, winter in Far Rye has slowly receded. The daffodils are starting to bloom. The crocus and snowdrops are in their full bloom at the moment. The day is getting longer and the weather is no longer murky all day long. The morning journey to nursery school and work is no longer felt like driving with a diving bell tied to your body.
There is a sensation of freshness and awakening in the air.
After the mid term, we are now counting backwards toward our trip to Hong Kong to see the inlaws. It has been more than two years we have not been to the city. It will be an exciting trip for us. I am just hoping the weather in HK is going to be somewhat forgiving to us who has been confined by the sunless cold winter for the last 4-5 months.
